Garters
This was such an easy project, although a bit time consuming due to hand sewing it all together.
I had some left over lace trim from my brooch bouquet and decided this would be perfect for the garters. For the larger one, I left the trim as it came and sewed a 1/2" ribbon on the reverse side, leaving it open on both ends. I then fed the elastic through the "tube". I then stitched the two ends together. I added the bow and a rhinestone button and it's all done. I basically did the same thing for the smaller one, but I cut off the thicker side of the lace trim.
The buttons were $3 and the elastic was $2. I already had the lace trim and the ribbon from other projects, but if I were to add that cost in, it would still be under $10 for both garters.
